Where found:

  • Coastal to lowland and lower montane forest, forest margins
Description:
  • A soft wooded, twining, branching liana up to 10 metres tall, the main stem is up to 10cm diameter and the branchlets are pubescent (hairy) and reddish-brown
  • Dark green leaves with a shiny upper surface and pale underside, diverse shapes (30-100mm x 5mm-40mm) especially on young plants
  • Fragrant white flowers 6-10mm
  • Long narrow seed pods
